REX SHANYFELT
ASSISTANT COACH

Rex Shanyfelt returns for his eighth season as an assistant women's basketball coach at JJC.

Previously, he was an assistant women's basketball coach at Illinois Valley Community College for seven seasons. At IVCC, he had three teams go to the national tournament, and had five seasons with 22 wins or more. Shanyfelt also coached three All-American players at Illinois Valley including Shannon Washington, Virginia Trotter and Arnishia Thomas.

As a solid and consistent recruiter, Shanyfelt helps to bring in talented players that are ready to compete and make an impact right away.

BRAD PRICE
ASSISTANT COACH
Brad Price enters his eighth year on the JJC women's basketball coaching staff.

Previously, Price spent two seasons as an assistant girls' basketball coach on Danny Turner's varsity staff at Joliet Township High School.

Price is an Augustana College alum earning bachelor's degrees in Political Science and Public Administration. A Chicago native, Price is a retired police officer with the Joliet Police Department. He lives in Plainfield with his wife and children.
